This trip provides an experience of learning and adventure with components of science, the Spanish language, Latin American culture, and service.
Note: Departure will be the night before day one or early morning of
day one.
DAY 1
Arrive at San Jose
(Sights and meals to be determined by flight time arrival)
Motor to Sarapiqui
Visit the Butterfly Farm and view many native animals as well as the beautiful butterfly collection
Hotel check in and dinner
DAY 2
Hotel breakfast
Visit with local children to learn about our friends from Costa Rica at a school in Huetares
Lunch
Afternoon will be spent Whitewater Rafting
Dinner and pool/spa time at the hotel
DAY 3
Hotel breakfast
Sights today include the Arenal Volcano National Park
Lunch during activities
Afternoon and evening we will visit a true Organic Farm and get our hands dirty while we learn to use the land and not harm the environment

DAY 4

Motor to Monteverde with multiple stops to view wildlife and countryside
Hikes and sights as time allows as we travel around Lake Arenal and the volcano
Arrive in Monteverde with guided night hike in the cloud forest-Bring your flashlight or headlamp to look for eyes peering at you thru the forest
Dinner at hotel
DAY 5
Hotel breakfast
Depart for Selvatura - Soar over the jungle canopy on this amazing zipline adventure
Check out the hanging bridges as you hike thru the cloud forest looking for amazing birds, butterflies and more
Motor to Punta Leona
Time for beach and pools
Dinner
DAY 6
Hotel breakfast
Morning will be spent on this beautiful Pacific Coast Beach
Lunch
Afternoon motor to Heredia to check into final hotel

Sights in the am as time allows
Motor to airport late morning for flight home
