Hike and learn about the ecology of this unique environment

Depart for Yellowstone

Check into hotel

DAY TWO

Hotel breakfast

Morning seminar with photo expert

Enter Yellowstone NP

Motor to Canyon

Photograph upper and lower falls of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

Lunch along Yellowstone river

Photograph Mud Volcano and animals in Hayden Valley

Dinner

Arrive at hotel with free time for swimming or spa

DAY THREE

Hotel breakfast

Load bags on bus

Group enters Yellowstone

Photograph early morning wildlife as available

Visit more thermal areas en route to Old Faithful

Stop to see Old Faithful and the famous Old Faithful Lodge

Enter Grand Teton NP

Photograph at Oxbow Bend

Dinner in Jackson

Turn in two rolls for development to be shown in display next night—prizes for best photo of: animals, geysers, thermal features and human interest (people watching animals, geysers, etc.

Check into hotel

DAY FOUR

Hotel breakfast

Depart for Grand Teton NP

Photograph Tetons with early morning light

Lunch

Hike and photograph around Jenny Lake

See a western shootout in Jackson’s town square

Dinner and photo display

Free time for shopping in Jackson

Return to hotel

DAY FIVE

Hotel breakfast

Students put bags on bus

Rafting on the Snake River

Lunch on river

Depart for Salt Lake City

Dinner and shopping (time permitting) at the Gateway Mall in downtown Salt Lake City

Depart for airport for flight home
